Pasta With Smoked Chicken and Pea Pod Recipe
Ingredients
1. Skinless smoked chicken breast thinly sliced (3ounces)
2. fat free chicken stock (1c)
3. freshly ground black pepper (1/8tsp)
4. salt (1/8tsp)
5. shredded fresh basil (1/4c)
6. Chinese pea pod (4 ounces)
7. red bell pepper, peeled and thinly sliced (4ounces)
8. coarsely chopped garlic (1tbsp about 3 cloves)
9. water (1tbsp)
10. thinly sliced white onion (1 medium about 1 cup)
11. uncooked thin-strand pasta (9ounces)
Method of preparation:-
1. First cook pasta in a pot of boiling water until it gets soft. Then drain it and keep it aside.
2. Take a nonstick frying pan; place it over medium low heat. Mix onion and water in it and cook it for about 4 minutes until the onion gets wilted. Add pea pods, garlic and bell pepper in it. Cover the pan and keep it to cook for about 2 minutes.
3. Add chicken and seasoning in the pan, cover the pan and keep it to cook for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile put the pasta back to the pot and add the chicken stock and cook it over medium heat by stirring it until the stock reduced to half.
4. Take off the pot from heat and then add chicken mixture in it. Mix it well and then serve it.
