Punjabi Masala Chicken Recipe
This is the very tasty recipe in which chicken is cooked with onions and tomatoes in the ghee or butter. I love to make this chicken and my family love to eat it.
Ingredients:-
Chicken (1 whole), Onions (10-12 medium), Tomatoes (5-7 medium), Garlic (7-9 cloves), Water (2 cups), Salt
Method Of Preparation:-
Wash your chicken properly and dry it. Cut the chicken into pieces. Finely chop the onions in the processor. Sauté them in pressure cooker with the ghee or oil whatever you like. Cook them until they become golden brown. In the meantime, make puree of tomatoes. Now add puree in the onions and cook them until they are properly cooked. Now add chicken in it and water in it. Now put the lid on the top of the cooker. Cook it until the chicken is tender (3-4 whistles of cooker). Now open the lid and see if chicken is soft or not. If you feel that chicken is not tender then again cook it with lid closed. After the chicken is cooked properly, then cook the chicken on the simmer for 15-20 minutes with stirring occasionally.
