Murgh Afghani (Chicken With Melon Seed) Recipe
In this recipe chicken is cooked with melon seeds, cashew nut paste, khuskhas, cream, butter and white pepper.
Ingredients:
1. Chicken (1 Small whole Chicken)
2. Magaz (Melon Seed) paste (1 tbsp)
3. Cashewnut paste (1 1/2 tbsp)
4. Khuskhus (Posto / Poppy seeds) paste (1 tbsp)
5. Cream (1/2 cup)
6. Butter (2 tbsp)
7. Salt (to taste)
8. White pepper (2 tsp)
Method Of Preparation:-
1. Take the chicken and clean it and keep aside. Now make a paste of all the ingredients magaz, cashew nut, cream, butter, khuskhus, salt and white pepper and marinate the chicken in this mixture for at least 4 hrs.
2. Clean the chicken and keep aside. Grill the chicken in a tandoor till they becomes golden. Now serve the Murgh Afghani hot with the onion rings.
