Citrus and Honey Glazed Crunchy Chicken
In this recipe, chicken is coated with Japanese-style bread crumbs that is panko, and cooked in oil. Then served with the orange honey sauce. This recipe is very delicious served over buttered rice
Ingredients:
1. Chicken breast halves (6)
2. Egg (1)
3. Panko bread crumbs (3 cups)
4. Orange juice (2 cups)
5. Olive oil (4 Tbsp.)
6. Garlic powder (2 tsp.)
7. Garlic (2 cloves)
8. Water (1 Tbsp.)
9. Butter (3 Tbsp.)
10. Honey (¼ cup)
11. Salt (to taste)
12. Pepper (to taste)
13. Orange (1)
14. Parsley (4 Tbsp.)
15. green chilies (3-4)
Method Of Preparation:-
1. Firstly mix the bread crumbs and a garlic powder in the bowl.
2. Take another bowl and beat the egg and 1 tbsp. of water. Beat them properly. Now take the skinless and boneless chicken breasts and dip the chicken first in the egg and then in bread crumb mixture.
3. Take oil in a skillet and heat it over a medium heat. Saute chicken for almost 6 minutes until it turns golden from both the sides. Now remove it from heat and put in on platter.
4. Now heat the butter in a saute pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic to it. Heat it for 2 minutes. Mix orange juice and honey in it. Add salt and pepper according to your taste.
5. Cook on the medium heat until it reduces to half. Put chicken in a pan with orange. Cook for additional 5 minutes. Put chicken on a platter and pour juice over it. Garnish with chopped parsley or chilies whatever you desire.
