Kashmiri Cashew Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
Jointed chicken (1), chopped cashew (2c), yogurt (1c), curry powder (1tsp), ginger (1tsp), crushed garlic (2cloves), chopped coriander leaves (3tbsp), chopped green chilies (2), finely chopped onions (2med.), clarified butter (2tbsp), water or stock (2c).

Method of preparation:-
kashmiri-cashew-chickenTake a pot, place it over heat. Add stock or water in it and then put chicken in stock. Keep it to boil and then simmer it until the chicken gets soft. Take out the chicken from the stock. Boil the stock until it gets reduce to half. Take a pan, melt butter in it and then fry the onions in it until they get soft. Then add cardamom, curry powder, ginger, garlic, chilies and coriander in it and cook it for about 3 to 4 minutes by stirring. Take a bowl, mix yogurt with ½ cup of stock in it and then pour it into the pan and cook it. When it starts boiling then adds chicken and mix salt in it. Keep it to simmer and then add nuts in it. Again simmer it for about 5 minutes and then serve it.
