Chicken Seyal Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken (8 med. Size pieces about 800 gms), clarified or ghee/butter/oil (2tbsp), grated onions (4med.), mixture of finely chopped coriander, spinach, mint and dill leaves (1c), turmeric powder (1/2tsp), red chili powder (1tsp), coriander powder (1tsp), cumin (1tsp), chopped tomatoes (4), finely chopped ginger (1tbsp), tamarind paste 91tsp), yogurt (2tbsp), green chilies (4), finely chopped fresh coriander leaves (for garnish), salt (to taste).
Method of preparation:-
Take a heavy bottomed pan, place it over heat. Heat clarified butter or oil in it until it gets hot. Then add all the ingredients in the pan and mix them properly. Now cover the pan with tight fitting lid and cook it for about 30 minutes on medium heat until the chicken gets cooked and water gets evaporated. When the chicken gets cooked then takes of the pan from it and decorates it with finely chopped coriander leaves. Now the chicken is ready to serve.
