Crockpot Lemon Chicken Thighs Recipe
Ingredients
1. Boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 inch pieces (6)
2. frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed (6oz)
3. lemon juice (3tbsp)
4. brown sugar (3tbsp)
5. ketchup (3tbsp)
6. balsamic vinegar (1tbsp)
7. olive oil (2tbsp)
8. pepper (1/8tsp)
9. flour (1/3c)
10. salt (to taste)
11. cornstarch (2tbsp)
Method of preparation:-
1. Take a shallow dish, mix flour, pepper and salt in it.
2. Take a nonstick frying pan, place it over medium high heat and then heat olive oil in it. Take chicken pieces, coat them in the mixture of flour and fry them in oil in the pan until they get brown.
3. Take out the chicken from pan and place it in Crockpot of 3-4 quarters. Take a small bowl, mix lemonade concentrate, lemon juice, brown sugar, ketchup and vinegar in it. Mix it well and cook it for 7 to 8 hours on low or 3 to 4 on high heat.
4. When sauce gets ready then take a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water in it. Add this mixture into the sauce. Cook it for about 20 to 30 minutes on high until it gets thickened. Serve it with hot cooked rice.
