Chicken Chasseur Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken thighs (8), fresh rosemary (1tsp), fresh thyme, tarragon (1tsp), mushrooms (12 ounces), chopped garlic (5cloves), whole tomatoes 91can about 15 ounces), dry white wine (1c), chopped onion (1med.), leek, cleaned and chopped (1small), black pepper (1/2tsp), salt (1tsp)flour (1 ½ tbsp).
Method of preparation:-
Take a saucepan, place it over heat. Heat oil in it and add onion in it and then cook it until it gets brown. Take out the chicken from the pan and then add onion and leek in it. Sauté them for about 1 minute. Then add flour in it and cook for 30 seconds more. Now add tomatoes and wine in it. Keep this mixture to boil and then mix rosemary, thyme, mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper in it. Again place the chicken into the pan and turn down the heat to low and cook it for about 30 minutes. When the chicken gets soft then dust the tarragon on the top and mix it.
