Pasta With Peas and Pesto Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken breasts, cut into 2cm pieces (400gms), dried pasta, farfalle, penne or similar (300gms), grated cheddar cheese (2tbsp), red pesto (3tbsp), vegetable or rapeseed oil (1tbsp), frozen peas (250gms).
Method of preparation:-
Take a large pot of salted water, keep it to boil and then cook pasta in it for about 10 minutes until it gets soft. Then add beans in it and boil it for about 1 minute and drain it properly and place in serving bowl. Meanwhile, take a frying pan, place it over medium heat. Heat oil in it and then add the chicken pieces in the pan. Fry the chicken for about 5 to 6 minutes until the chicken gets lightly brown and cooked. Add pesto in it and cook for few minutes. Now place the pesto chicken into the drained pasta and peas. Mix it well and sprinkle salt and pepper over it according to taste. Dust the grated cheese on top and serve it with crusty bread.
