Chicken and Sausage Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken thighs (1lb), pasta, tortellenis with parmesan (1/2 to 1lb), salt and pepper, red pepper (1/4tsp), hot Italian sausage (1/2 to 1lb)fresh parsley (1/4c), thyme (1/2tsp), basil (1 1/2tsp), tomatoes (1can), onion (1med.), minced garlic (1med.).
Method of preparation:-
Take chicken thighs, bake them. Keep them to cool and separate the meat from the bones and then discard the bones. Take a saucepan, fry sausage and onion in it and then drain the grease. Then add baked chicken, basil, thyme, red pepper, fresh parsley, salt and pepper according to taste in the pan. Keep this mixture to boil and then reduce the heat to low and keep it to simmer for about 15 minutes. Now adjust the seasoning. Take a large pot, boil salted water in it and cook pasta in it for about 8 to 10 minutes until the pasta gets soft. Drain pasta and place in serving bowl; sprinkle the parmesan over it (optional). Serve it with chicken sausage mixture.
