Chicken and Pasta Puttanesca Recipe
Ingredients
Chopped and cooked chicken (2c), crushed dried red peppers (1/2tsp), capers (1tbsp optional), reduced sodium chicken broth (1/4c) or dry white wine (1/4c), sliced pitted ripe olives (1/2c), Ragu Light pasta sauctomato and herb (1jar about 27 ½ ounces), minced garlic (3cloves), vegetable oil or olive oil (1tbsp), grated parmesan cheese (optional), uncooked thin spaghetti (8ounces).
Method of preparation:-
Take a saucepan, place it over medium heat. Heat oil in it and add garlic in it . Cook it for about 1 minute by stirring it regularly. Add pasta sauce, capers, wine, olives and red pepper in it. Keep this mixture to boil. Then turn down the heat to low and keep it to simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes. Then mix the chicken in it. Meanwhile cook the pasta in a large pot according to the instructions on the package. Drain the pasta and place it in a serving bowl. Mix the hot pasta with sauce and sprinkle cheese over it and then serve it.
