Chicken Casserole Recipe

This dish is the easy way to use the leftover chicken and to make a delicious dish that is really a superb.

Ingredients

CASSEROLE:
1. Condensed cream of chicken soup (1 can)
2. Chicken broth (1/4 cup)
3. Sour cream (1 cup)
4. Worcestershire sauce (1 tsp)
5. Diced carrots (1cup)
6. Chopped onion (3/4 cup)
7. Chopped celery (1/2 cup)
8. Cooked and chopped chicken (3 cups)
9. Mushrooms (1/2 cup)
10. Salt (1 tsp)
11. Pepper (1/8 tsp)

TOPPING:
1. Eggs (2)
2. All-purpose flour (1 cup)
3. Shredded Cheddar cheese (1-1/4 cups)
4. Milk (1/2 cup)
5. Baking powder (2 tsp)
6. Salt (1/2 tsp)

Method Of Preparation:-

Casserole:
1. Take a saucepan and in it put chicken broth, carrots, onions and celery. Now simmer the gas and cook it for 20 minutes.

2. In 3 quart casserole dish, add chicken, mushroom, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, soup, salt and pepper. Add vegetable mixture and mix it well. After that blend it well.

Topping:
1. Now for topping, take a mixing bowl and mix the baking powder, salt and flour. Now in this mixture add the eggs, milk and cheese (1 cup). Stir and mix well until they are well blended.

2. Now put this topping in desired amount onto the casserole and bake it in the oven for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown at a temperature of 350 degrees. Now sprinkle the remaining cheese and bake it in the oven until the cheese melts.
