Applebee’s Oriental Chicken Salad Recipe

Ingredients

Salad
Chicken breast half (1 boneless, skinless), Egg (1), Corn flake crumbs (1/2 cup), Chow mien noodles (1/3 cup), Chopped romaine lettuce (3 cups), Red cabbage (1 cup), Napa cabbage (1 cup), Carrot (shredded,1/2), Green onion, chopped (1), Sliced almonds (1 tbsp), Vegetable oil (2-4 cups), Milk (1/2 cup), Flour (1/2 cup), Salt (1 tsp), Pepper (1/4 tsp)

Oriental Dressing
Mayonnaise (1/4 cup), Honey (3 tbsp), Sesame oil (1/8 tsp), Rice wine vinegar (1 1/2 tbsp), Grey Poupon Dijon mustard (1 tsp)

Method Of Preparation:-
Take a small shallow bowl and put the ingredients used for dressings in it. Mix and blend all the ingredients properly. Refrigerate it and in the meantime prepare salad. Take a another bowl and beat egg in it and add milk mix them well and in another dish mix flour, corn flakes crumbs, salt and pepper. Now dip the thin strips( cut them like they are finger chips) of chicken into egg mixture and then into flour mixture so that chicken is coated up properly. While you are preparing salad and dressings put oil in a fry pan and heat it on a medium heat. When your oil is fully heated put the chicken strips into the oil and fry them for 5 minutes or until the coating turns darkened to brown. Now in a bowl add romaine, cabbage and carrots and toss them well. Now sprinkle onions on the top of it followed by almond powder and chow mein. Now put chicken and serve it with dressing on the side.

No. of servings:- Makes 1 dinner-size salad.
